SB Tech Logos 2

More logos for the SB Tech company. This time the logos are based off of the company's initials, STS. Like the previous logos, I used a variety of sources for inspiration, from space and aviation company logos to sci-fi.

SB Tech / Raven Two Tone Logos

To accompany the full logos, I created this compilation of two tone picture logos for use on company property, decals, letterheads and so on. It also acts as a collection of my recently designed logo works and to help further display my logo design skills.

SB Tech Website

As further development of the SB Tech logo, I decided to make a website to go along with it. I decided to go with a sleek, corporate looking website for that extra touch of professionalism. I also tried my hand at another logo design to try and suit the corporate look, but I found it didn't quite look as good as the original.

Angels & Demons - Poster, DVD Cover and Disk Label

As an extra part of my Angels & Demons work, I created a poster, cover and disk label to go along with the DVD that the background animation previously posted was a part of. I used a lot of Illuminati symbols were used in the backgrounds with low opacity, shots of blood red sky over the Angels & Demons statue and promotion shots of the stars looking ominous to show the mystery and intrigue of the film.

Website Concept - Disco Volante Coffee Shop

This website was made for a coffee shop franchise called Disco Volante. They wanted a nice, warm, inviting website with lots of earthy tones. I designed some concepts in Adobe Photoshop and then converted them to HTML and refined them in Adobe Dreamweaver.

Website Concept - CraigsListCash Contract Work Website

These website concepts were created for a contract work client. He wanted a simple website along the lines of CraigsListCash (I do not own). Given his requirements, I went ahead and designed what he wanted in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver. I also made some aesthetic modifications with his approval to make the site look more attractive and inviting.

Raven Sword Logo Design

Another project based on the same RPG that inspired the SB tech logos. In the game, a private military company was formed, named Raven Sword, based on a similar company from Metal Gear Solid 4 (I do not own). I took a lot of inspiration from the MGS4 Raven Sword logo, but I didn't want to copy it directly, so I played around with a bird head and crosshair combo in a few different configurations. I also tried using embossing to make the logo look razor edged to play into the whole sword/military theme, but I wasn't too happy with the results.

EDIT: A few members of the RP requested some personalized variations. Here they are.

Animated Flash Website Concept - Seburo

For a project, I was assigned to create an animated flash website. In this instance, I decided to base it on the fictional gun manufacturer, Seburo, featured in many of Masamune Shirow's works (I do not own).

I based the layout on one of my favourite of his works, Ghost in the Shell. The interface is simple and sleek, with a clean, minimalist design and rollover buttons that can be accessed via quick-keys for changing the displayed information. It also gives the impression of being part of a flowing data stream, thanks to the animated background featuring files similar to the one showing the information flying past. The user can stop or start the animation at any time or even change the colour of the background using the controls in the lower left corner. A display also shows the current date and time in real time, a touch I thought appropriate given the high-tech cyberpunk nature of the site.

TAFE Moodle Interface Redesign Concept

This concept was from a interface design project for the TAFE Moodle system. We were asked to make the GUI more visually appealing and streamlined. My idea was to separate out the various weekly sections and menus and make them minimizable to reduce on-screen clutter. Within the weekly sections, files for the week are separated out by their purpose, such as whether they are intended to be notes and reading material or they are intended to be assignments to be downloaded. Finally, the submission section was redesigned to be easily readable and accessable from within the main course page, as opposed to having to go through several other pages in order to see whether the assignment was marked and what grade you got.

Aesthetics-wise, I believed that the best option was to keep the interface simple and use colour to highlight the important sections and provide information (eg. yellow for the submission section means that the assignment hasn't been submitted, blue means it has and has been given a passing grade). The colour palette was taken from the TAFE website in order to match the organization's colour theme.

SB Tech Logos

These are a few logos I made for a fictional corporation for a roleplaying game I am hosting on Spacebattles.com. Since it involves itself heavily in aerospace, I took a lot of inspiration from the big aircraft manufacturers in the real world, like Lockheed-Martin, Boeing and Suhkoi.

iPhone App Mockups

These mockups are designs for a iPhone app for a coffee shop. As desired by the client, the sequence is intended to show how to order and pay for a purchase. Colours were chosen to reflect the scheme of the company and to reflect their down-to-earth, homey atmosphere. Pictures of the various foods were taken from stock photos provided.

SBXCOM Website

This is the final SBXCOM website, created mainly using XHTML coding, but also some Adobe Dreamweaver to tighten up the details and add features like drop down menus. It features a complete index on all the major aspects of the universe, from a timeline, details on weapons and abilities, tech tree and who played the game.

Like I explained in the concept stage, I used a green and black CRT aesthetic to reflect the retro-futuristic setting of the game, and it's evident throughout the entire website.

The game uses elements and draws inspiration from X-COM, Starcraft, Warcraft and several other (I do not own).
