To promote Blackball Design further, I have been developing a website to contain my online portfolio of work, display my skills and range of clients and provide a conduit for customers to reach me to commission pieces of work or discuss ongoing projects. It was designed to match the aesthetic of my blog as well as provide a simple and intuitive layout and displays all the necessary business and promotional information and provides links to all parts of the website upfront to the user.
I studied various layout designs, as well as how much I could reduce the front page down without losing the key features (eg. page links, main page information, promotions, clients, outside links to social media sites and so on). In later concepts, I added the capacity to display my video editing work as well as providing links to my Youtube page.
